Betty M. Harman

Born March 15, 1932 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Verna E. (Walmer) McCombs; preceded in death by her husband, John P. Harman; and brother, Robert McCombs.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia L. Gotwalt, of Jacksonville, FL and Susan E. Fretz and her husband Richard, of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Adrienna Gotwalt, Trevor Gotwalt, Barbara Fretz and Angela Fretz; sister, Nancy Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty retired from the Commonwealth of PA, a member of The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church of Pembrook.

Betty loved to play pinochle, Rummikub, working jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2025 at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3700 Rutherford St., Harrisburg. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of service at the church.
