Catherine E. Zimmerman

She was a 1955 graduate of John Harris High School. She was an avid volunteer for years, helping with various charities and her children’s school. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and going to the movies. She was always one of her family’s greatest fans, enjoying their sports activities and performances. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with the extended family on annual beach vacations.

Born February 10, 1937, in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Harvey D. and Catherine E. (Emanuel) Livingston Sr. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Zimmerman and Glenn Keefer Jr.; a son, Patrick Keefer; and her brothers, Harvey Jr., Harry and William Livingston.

Surviving are her children, Debra Cannon (James), David Keefer (Estella) and Carolyn Nauss (Barry); 8 grandchildren, Patrick Nauss, Chris Nauss, Diana Nauss, Michael Cannon, Katelyn Cannon, Kristi Cannon, Aleksandra Ramsay and Aidan Keefer; 15 great-grandchildren, Natalya, Mason, Mia, Lilliana, Xavier, Aurora, Shaka Jr., Olivia, Liam, Hayden, Ethan, Julian, Chase, Brayden and Ashton; a great-great-grandchild, Kyrie and her many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 30, 2022, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM Friday until the time of the service.
