Born March 9, 1955 in Miami, FL; she was the daughter of the late Marcus W. and Eula R. (Picker) Cook.
Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Robert E. Goucher; two sons, Eric C. Goucher and his wife, Jennifer, of Pittsburgh and Rob Goucher of Harrisburg; 2 grandsons, Keegan and Declan Goucher; brother, Gary Cook, of Brooksville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Hialeah High School in 1973.
Darlene was a retired employee from the Central Dauphin School District, with 20 years of service.
She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church and the Hummelstown American Legion Post 265 Ladies Auxiliary.
Darlene loved being with her family and friends, she got a lot of joy making the holidays special and the beach was her happy place. She was an avid sports fan for all the Florida pro football teams and Penn State football. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music and loved dancing.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg.
A Celebration of Life will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Hummelstown American Legion Post 265, 535 Walton Ave., Hummelstown, PA 17036.
