Darlene Elizabeth Reynolds

Born July 13, 1943, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Ruth M. Straining. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael L. Reynolds, and a brother, Raymond Straining.

Surviving is her husband, Richard I. Reynolds, of whom she was married to for 53 happy years, a son James E. Reynolds, and his wife Sandra. Darlene had two grandchildren, April L. Jones and Jamie L. Rhoden, and two great grandchildren, Azrael M. M. and Zelkovia (Kovi) M. M. Rhoden. She had two brothers, Ken Straining and his wife Pat, and Bob Straining and wife Ethel, and a sister-in-law, Sally Straining.

Darlene was a retired employee from the Department of Education for the Commonwealth of PA.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, until the time of the service at 11:00 am, Friday, June 18, 2021, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
