Born May 30, 1959, in Harrisburg; he was the son of the late Robert A. and Vivian (Long) Enders Sr.; and preceded in death by his son, Justin Shae Enders.
David is survived by is his loving wife, Julie A. (Grab) Enders; son, Steven C. Enders (Chris Lunden); bonus daughter, Elizabeth R. Noss; siblings, Janice Brunner (Scott “Abe”), John Enders, Robert Enders, Jr. (Bonita) and Jennifer Ostman (Henry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was a Title Search Examiner for Title Resource Group, a former owner of Enders Abstract Inc., the former Vice President of Susquehanna Title Agency, a former pig farmer and the proud former owner of PD’s Pretzel Dogs, the popular late-night snack on North 2nd Street in Harrisburg.
David was the President of the Enders Family Association since 2004, member of the White House Camp and a former member of the Harrisburg Kiwanis Club.
David will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, beloved brother, and friend. David and his wife, Julie, whom he married on July 15, 2017, were inseparable and together they enjoyed vacationing, gardening, kayaking, and grilling. David was known for his sarcastic sense of humor, outgoing personality and has been told he’s never met a stranger.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St, Harrisburg. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Baughman United Methodist Church, 228 Bridge St, New Cumberland. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment at Paxtang Cemetery, 490 North Paxtang Avenue, Harrisburg will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Enders Family Association and mailed to Dennis Henninger, Treasurer 87 E. Broad St., P.O. Box 329 Elizabethville, PA 17023, or Swatara Township Fire-Rescue and mailed to Office of the Fire Chief 599 Eisenhower Blvd Harrisburg, PA 17111.
