Dorothy B. Dooley

Born February 8, 1929 in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Marchetti) Deem; and preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph J. Dooley.

Surviving is her daughter, Sharon R. Heide, and her husband, Ralph; 2 sons, William Dooley, and his wife, Judy and James Dooley; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Heide, Jennifer Cogan, Joseph Dooley and Brian Dooley; 5 great-grandchildren, Kaleb Dooley, Liam Dooley, Jack, Audrey and Eirinn Cogan; and sister, Arlene Weiss.

Dorothy was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the church.
