Giovina Maria “Janet” Fonti, 92, of York, formerly of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Amoroso Wellness of York.

Born September 23, 1930, in Bronx, NY; she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Josephine (Solazzi) Mazzucca; and preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Fonti; and son, Joseph Fonti.

Surviving is a grandson, Joseph C. Fonti; daughter-in-law, Lisa Fonti; sister, Tina Vernoia; nephew, Michael Vernoia and wife, Nancy; sister-in-law, June Mazzucca; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 5, 2023, at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to York County SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
