

Jackie was the daughter of Harvey L. Miller and Ella Miller. Jackie had 5 siblings and was the last of the greatest generation. Her father worked on the railroad during the turn of the 20th century where he and his beloved wife went on to raise their family during the Great Depression and World War II. Jackie was a graduate of John Harris High School.
Jackie met her beloved husband Joseph Paese in 1947 and the two married in 1954. Jacqueline was the mother of 4 sons, Daniel (wife Pam Higgins) of Harrisburg, Thomas (partner Charles Porvaznik) of Washington, DC, Joseph (wife Michele Leo) of Harrisburg and Michael (husband Blake Kimbrough) of Washington, DC. She was the grandmother of five: Kevin, Steven, Damien, Vince and Morgan, and great grandmother of 10: Sophia, Kamden, Hadyn, Beckham, Avelyn, Vale, Riven, Michael, Christian and Leo. Jackie was a homemaker and a loving mother and wife. Later in life to help with college tuition for her four sons she worked as an executive assistant for the US Navy in Mechanicsburg, PA.
The family requests visiting hours to be observed from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, March 15th at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg PA. At 1:00pm, following the visitation, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Saint Catherine Laboure Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA. Immediately following the Mass there will be a luncheon reception and celebration of her life at The Hotel Hershey, 100 Hotel Road, Hershey PA. There will be a private internment ceremony for the family at a later date.
