James “Jim” Joseph Robenseifner passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 20, 2021. Jim is survived by his wife, Sally Ann Clouser Robenseifner of 40 years. Together they shared the joy of camping in their travel trailer, tending to their lawn and gardens, as well as tossing tennis balls and other toys with their four-footed friends. Jim was blessed with six daughters - Stacey Frost (Scott) of Marysville; Jody Stafford, Camp Hill; Karen Luckemeyer (James), San Antonio, Texas; Jamie Robenseifner, New Cumberland; Kerri Smith (Steve), Mechanicsburg, and Kristie (Scott) Foster, Camp Hill.
Jim, born in Harrisburg, PA, October 28, 1941, was the youngest child of the late Frank J. Robenseifner and Anna C. Shoggy Robenseifner. He is preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Ronald, and his sister Jacqueline Peters. His brother Robert of Palmyra survives him, as well as twelve grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and one great grandchild.
Jim lived his life in Catholic faith. Jim worked at Gannett Fleming for 33 years, until his retirement. Following retirement, he worked part time at Lowes and always took pleasure in buying the latest lawn tool or gadgets. Jim was the perfect gift giver of those practical tools, a source of endless household tips and tricks, and champion of keeping his automobiles polished and pristine. Days were also filled with delight in stocking bird feeders, watching the squirrels eat from the bird feeders, and tending to his cats and dog. If you knew Jim, you knew he was an avid football enthusiast and a loyal Eagles fan among the Eagles Nation. He never missed a game on TV and was overjoyed when the birds finally brought home the Super Bowl LII championship.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Post 869, the Susquehanna Jays Camping Club, the Young At Heart group at Calvary United Methodist Church, and the Perry County Recreational Association. Jim valued being involved. He was at one time a Board member of the Latshmere Swim Club, where he dedicated many volunteer hours of hard work and labor. Additionally, he was a former Boy Scout leader and reliable parent volunteer for Susquehanna Township High School Band and Color Guard.
