Jane B. Brinton

Jane B. Brinton, 88, of Harrisburg, went home to be with her Lord on June 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 25, 1926 in Boundbrook, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late George and Mary Kocanowski. Her husband Walter L. Brinton preceded her in death on April 8, 1997. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her sister Pauline Kocanowski, and three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Walter Kocanowski. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and was loved and will be missed by all. She was a retired waitress, bookkeeper for Brinton Drapery, and a homemaker. Her many interests included reading, cooking, gardening, and playing BINGO. Surviving are her sons Richard Boyd of Fairfield, David Brinton and wife Jeni of Harrisburg, one brother Steve Kocanowski of Middlesex, NJ, five grandsons, Matthew Boyd, Christopher Boyd, Nathan Boyd, David Brinton Jr, and Michael Brinton, and one granddaughter, Christina Brinton, and one great-grandson, Thomas Boyd. A private memorial service will be held with immediate family to celebrate Jane's life at Neil Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery.
