John "Jack" E. Mason

He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He was also a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 12811. He retired as a division manager from NFIB. He was most recently employed by Kelly Line Inc.

He enjoyed music, dancing, traveling, Notre Dame football and meeting people, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Mike and his wife, Carol of Enola; 2 daughters, Kathy Dupin of Lewisberry and Nancy and her husband, Mark Frey of Harrisburg; 2 brothers, Bill (Betty) Mason and Jim (Pat) Mason, both of Reading; 9 grandchildren, Jessica (Sherburne) Lee, Ben (Jen), Caleb, Hannah, Amy, Molly, Jill (Brandon) Valentine, Holly (Phil) Serio, and Joey; 3 great grandsons, Josiah, Mikey and Ethan; and his beloved nieces and nephews..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2010 in his church at 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. There will be a viewing in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a viewing at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
