Judith "Gertie" Little

Judith Nan Hetes Little- "Gertie" to friends and family, of Oberlin Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home with family on Saturday January 23rd 2016 after a long battle with COPD. Judy was born in Middletown PA on April 16 1941 to Anna and Andrew P Hetes with two sisters Trinita and Rachael and nine brothers Gerard, Gilbert, Ronald, Norbert, Kenny, Danny, Andrew, Mark and Mike. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1959. Judy married Ronald D Little of Marysville, Pennsylvania at St. Patrick's Cathedral and they celebrated 56 years together. Her family was her pride and joy and most of her life she was a domestic engineer. She and Ronald had four children; Bernadette -"Missy" Williams (husband Albert) Ronald D Little II (husband Distat) Kevin L Little (wife Lori) and Kyleen F Fazio (husband Timothy.) Judith had two Grandchildren - Justin M. (wife Marcie) and Victoria M. Little and two great grandchildren Jaxon and Lincoln. She had a huge heart; quick wit and loved to play cards, read and watch Perry Mason. She was a strong believer in Jesus and in the Force. She will be greatly missed and the family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love prayers and support. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Neill Funeral Home 3501 Derry St. Harrisburg PA. Burial will be at Churchville Cemetery in Oberlin. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. A brief wake will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church 600 North 48th St. in Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bethesda Mission of Harrisburg Pa in her name as it was one her favorite charitable causes.
