Margaret "Peggy" C. Chapman

Margaret C. Chapman (Peggy), 88, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away at home on Saturday, January 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 13, 1932, on Preston Hill, Girardville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clement J. and Margaret M. (Quinn) Kulenguskey. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas J. Chapman. She was a graduate of Butler Township High school, Class of 1950, and retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Revenue, after 17 years of service. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church. Peggy enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Thomas B. Chapman (Ellen); 3 daughters, Mary Lou Chapman, Margaret A. Hannaford (George), and Arlene Smith (Robert), 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her sister, Arlene M. Merritt, and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Monday, February 8, 2021, at. St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110, followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am – 10:30 am, at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111, prior to the service.
