Michael A. “Cozmo” Fure, 74, of Swatara Twp, died peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the UPMC Osteopathic Hospital, with his family at his bedside.

Michael was born and raised in Steelton, along with his four brothers and two sisters. He worked and retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot. Mike was an Army veteran who served in Vietnam.

Mike is survived by his son, Dominic, his wife Erin and their children, Grant and Sophia; daughter, Jessica; sister, Carol Zimmerman (Lester); two brothers, Donald (Caroline) and Robert (Cynthia); many nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Clement P. Fure Sr and Mabel Hoffman; his wife, Diane (Dido); his son, Matthew; his nephew, Tony Fure; and his brothers, Clement P. Fure Jr. and Clarence R. Fure; and sister, Theresa Schlodynske.

His favorite past times were hunting at the cabin in Lycoming County with family, his vacations at the Outer Banks and walks with his beloved dog Lilly.

Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In addition to his parents; Clement Fure, Sr. and Mabel Hoffman, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Diane (Dido), his son, Matthew, his nephew, Tony Fure, his sister, Theresa Schlodynski; and his brothers, Clement Fure, Jr. and Clarence Fure.
