Nancy G. (Maxwell) Douglas of Linglestown, PA, passed away with peace and grace as she went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born in Harrisburg, PA, the daughter of the late David & Violet Maxwell.
Nancy was preceded in eternal life by seven sisters, 4 brothers, and her son Terry. She is survived by her five children; Karen Meyers (Steven), Wendy Marsh (Clarence), Janet Agresto (James), Darla Cruz (Hector), and Todd Leach (Danielle); ten Grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Nancy was a stay at home mother all her life. She was truly blessed by all her children and grandchildren. She also loved spending time with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, whom she adored. Being behind the camera; capturing family memories, is something she enjoyed.
Nancy; known to some as Maa Maa, was everything from an outstanding Grand(mother) to a best friend. She loved listening to Country and Gospel music and always had Jimmy Swaggart on the TV. She had a laugh that could be picked from a crowd. She was sometimes hard at hearing, but would always speak her mind and always made sure everyone was included in birthdays and Christmas. Her heart was filled with love for her family. Throughout all of the obstacles and pain put in front of her, she still maintained her witty humor and her sweet demeanor.
Nancy was a member of Saint Paul's Methodist Church growing up; and later in life, became a member of Enhaut Bible Church. She leaves this earthly world as a born-again Christian. She spent the majority of her life focusing on the Lord Jesus for Guidance, Strength & Hope, and that all would come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
