Phyllis S. King

She was born July 28, 1929 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Hattie (Hatfield) Scott; preceded in death by her husband, Edwin King; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She retired from retail, working at Macy’s, Heck’s and John Wanamaker’s; and attended the Community Evangelical Free Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Sisson, husband, William, of Newport, and Dianne Stremmel, husband, Robert, of Harrisburg; son, David E. King, wife, Beth, of Harrisburg; 5 grandchildren, Andrew Wasenheim, Nicole Gannon, Ashley Maguire, Lauren King and David E. King Jr.; 4 great grandchildren; and sisters, Rebecca Marsh and Anita Mitchell.

A viewing will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 7, 2012 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
