Rebecca Jane Burns

Born on February 14, 1937 in York, PA to the late Jasper and Ella (Baker) Curry. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Burns Sr.

She is survived by her son, James Burns Jr. and daughter in-law Beth Burns; her daughter, Judith Burns; grandson Jeffery Burns and his wife Victoria; granddaughter Jamie LaVergne and her husband Dwight; great grandchildren, Jeffery, John and Lucy; her brother Joe; her sisters, Shirley and Effie; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Rebecca worked as a LPN for Harrisburg Hospital 20 years and is a member of Harrisburg 1st Assembly of God. She enjoyed gardening and loved her country dearly.

A Visitation will be held at Harrisburg 1st Assembly of God; 4100 N Progress Ave, Harrisburg, on Friday October 25, 2019 at 10:00am, with Christian Funeral services at 11:00am. Burial services will be held on Monday October 28, 2019 at 12:30pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery; Indiantown Gap Road, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the missions fund at Harrisburg 1st Assembly of God.
