
Robert E. Pugh, 85, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2016 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born December 11, 1931 in Fort Wayne, IN; he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Pugh; and 2 brothers, Harley and Norman Pugh. He is survived by 2 sons, Robert P. Pugh (Cynthia) and Daniel E. Pugh, both of Harrisburg; a daughter, Eveanne Lauver (Bradley), of Southport, NC; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was a retired vehicle inspector at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the Linglestown American Legion Post 272 and it's Honor Guard. Robert loved to hunt, fish and spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
