Ruth K. Gussman

Born on July 6, 1923 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Earl and Naomi Kuntz. She was preceded in death by husbands Hiram Gibble, Paul Casner, Warren Lautsbaugh, Jack Gussman and her good friend, Elwood Wertz. She was also predeceased by her brothers, George and Ralph Kuntz. She was a graduate of Hershey High School and was a former member of Enola Church of God where she served as church secretary for many years.

Ruth belonged to Harrisburg Chapter of Eastern Star, American Business Women's Association and MerryWidows. Ruth enjoyed crocheting and needlework, always keeping her hands busy. She enjoyed helping people and could be counted on to serve on committees. She hated to be surprised but loved to help plan surprises for other people.

She is survived by her daughters, Rachel L. Gibble Irvin, Paula R. Casner Jackman and 6 stepchildren: Wendy Dunlevy, Todd Lautsbaugh, Patricia Baim, Cynthia Mahoney, Pamela Keefer and Andrea Baker. A private celebration of life service will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
