William "Bill" Alfred Eckenrode, Jr.

Born March 19,1957 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late William A. and Kitty O. (Swab) Eckenrode, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Laurie A. Eckenrode; son, Brandon W. Eckenrode; daughter, Kristen M. Hanks (Kyle Paisley); brother, Randy Eckenrode (Kari); 2 sisters, Sharon Eckenrode and Wanda Bonasera (Michael); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill was a retired manager for Phillips Office Solutions, with over 30 years of service and an avid outdoors man and an avid hunter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, February 14,2026 at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd., Harrisburg. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts in memory of William Eckenrode be directed to support the pancreatic cancer research of Dr. Katie Bever at the Kimmel Cancer Center.
