Carol Sue Knight, 58, of Newport News, Va., passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Mary Immaculate Hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1957, in Harrisonburg, Va., and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Armstrong Beach.
Carol is survived by a son, Michael Shifflett and his wife, Lisa, of Newport News; and four grandchildren, Tyler Blackwell of Tennessee, Jessica, McKayla and Cheyenne Shifflett, all of Newport News, Va.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Roberts and Norman Beach.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Kevin Haynes officiating. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery.
