Claire Marie Skidmore Liddle

A daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Ebert Skidmore, she was born on September 28, 1929, in Pottsville, PA. She moved to Harrisonburg in 1955 where she had since resided. Mrs. Liddle was a homemaker and did volunteer work for various organizations.

On February 12, 1946, she married William Henry Liddle, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 25, 1988.

Surviving are William H. Liddle, Jr. and Louise of Port Republic; Daniel Dale Liddle, Claire Marie Liddle Gutshall and William Rodriguez, Carol Ruth Liddle and Atville Lear, Diane Hulvey all of Harrisonburg; four grandchildren, Rebecca Cisek, William Liddle, III, Anthony Liddle, Rachel Lear; and one great-granddaughter, Carly Mae Liddle.

A private graveside service will be held at Woodbine Cemetery with Rev. Ted Schulz officiating.

Per her request, there will be no formal visitation.
