Donald Wayne Long

Donald Wayne Long, 71, a resident of Timberville passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. He was born on August 18, 1950 in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late Merrill and Louise Sites Long. Donald grew up in Rockingham County and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Strickler and husband, Phillip; a son, Randall “Randy” Long and wife, Andrea all of Luray; two grandchildren, Sarah Cooper and Joseph Strickler; and a sister, Sheree Long of Timberville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Long, Stanley Long and Richard Bowen. He will be cremated and there will be no services.
