Floyd Carroll Motsinger

Carroll was born February 27, 1936 in Danville, VA to Helen Mae Smith Motsinger and Floyd Leroy Motsinger, who precede him in death. Carroll is also preceded in death by Brothers, Jimmy Motsinger and Roland 'Rick' Motsinger, Nephew Darryl Motsinger, and Niece Tiffany Motsinger.

He dedicated his entire life to God's work and the ministry of worship and music. Through numerous pastoral roles, and his eventual ownership role of Whitesel Music, he touched the lives of countless individuals, including a welcoming home for many foster children throughout the years. His legacy can still be heard today on one of over 1000 organs he installed in churches across the mid-Atlantic.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jerri Motsinger, Sister, Nancy Ward, Sister In Laws, Shirley and Janette Motsinger; Children, C. Kathy Hensley and husband Teddy, Kim Motsinger and wife Melinda, Michael Motsinger and wife Sheila, Kevin Motsinger, Shelley Kane and husband David; Grandchildren Jessica Dove, Joshua Dove, Nathan Lambert, Jeremy Motsinger, Maleah Motsinger, Jordan Kratzer, also including Theo, Charles, Nichole, and Shawn; Seven Great Grandchildren; Nephews, Rick Motsinger and wife Nancy, Tharin, and David, Niece, Rose, special Foster Children Keith Myers, Delores Hamm, and Judy Durkin, and Godchildren Carol & husband Walter 'Buzz' Qualey.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21 at Harrisonburg Baptist Church, 501 South Main St. Harrisonburg, VA 22801, at 4:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. The service will be led by Pastor Michael Shenk, Sr.
