Gary Allen Davis

He was born May 14, 1949 in Rockingham County and is the son of Arlene Kirby of Keezletown and the late Oliver J. Davis.

Gary lived all his life in the Mountain Valley area and was a member of Bethel Brethren Church. He graduated in 1967 from Montevideo High School, and also attended Blue Ridge Community College and Massanutten Technical Center. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and retired from Dunham Bush in 2002.

In 1969 he married the former June Turner, who preceded him in death.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Lea Ann Raines and husband, Vincent of Harrisonburg; two grandsons, Brian and Cody Ritchie; a brother, Randy W. Davis of Harrisonburg; a sister, Betty Jo Hinegardner and husband, Charles of Keezletown; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

At his request, he will be cremated and services will be private.
