He was born on July 6, 1926 in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late Eddie Rouser and Mary Francis Rouser Yokley.
Henry graduated from Lucy Simms School and retired from Mick or Mack after 20 years of service. He served in the US Army and was the oldest living member of the American Legion Post #76. He enjoyed working in his yard and garden.
He is survived by a sister, Lois M. Rouser of Harrisonburg; a special friend, George Buck of Newport News; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-father, Harold Yokley.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Newtown Cemetery with Rev. Wilma White officiating.
