He was the son of the late Edward C. and Beulah "Bessie" Sisk Moore.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, JoAnn, his son, Eddie and wife, Shauna, of Crimora, his son, Mike and wife, Jennifer, of Bridgewater, and one grandson, Matthew, also of Bridgewater.
In addition, he leaves behind his brother Joe and wife, Linda and his sister, Diana.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mickey.
After his graduation from Turner Ashby High School, Jim worked in
various positions at the family trucking business, Harrisonburg Motor Express, for several decades prior to stepping out on his own and starting JEM Transport in 1989, followed by his retirement in 2008.
Upon retirement, he could most likely be found mowing the grass or
cruising in his golf cart at home outside of Bridgewater, or tinkering
with his antique truck collection there in the shop.
Jim attended Victory Fellowship Church in Dayton.
In keeping with Jim's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
