Kathleen Marie (McCracken) Rivera

Kathleen Marie McCracken Rivera, 71, of Harrisonburg passed away at her home on March 31, 2018. She was born on November 12, 1946 in Wyckoff, NJ, and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Emma McCracken. Kathleen was a member of Harrisonburg Baptist Church. She loved shopping, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. On October 17, 1973 she married Roberto “Bob” Rivera, who preceded her in death on September 19, 2017. She is survived by a daughter, Katie M. Ritchie and husband, Buddie, of Rockingham; two grandchildren, Patrick and Madelynne Ritchie; a sister Sandra Shotmeyer and husband, Charles, of Franklin Lakes, NJ; and a brother, Kevin McCracken of New Jersey. A graveside service will be held 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Woodbine Cemetery with Pastor Mark Mays officiating. There will be no visitation.
