A daughter of the late Clifford Leroy and Helen Dewees Lindsay, she was born on April 3, 1922, in Philadelphia, PA.
On October 25, 1945 she married Henry F. Marcus, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 15, 2009.
Surviving are one son, David L. Marcus, of Waynesboro; one grandchild; and one sister, Helen Sharp, of Waynesboro.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Henry F. Marcus, III, and a brother, Clifford Leroy Lindsay, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at her residence in Waynesboro.
