Roland Lee Early

He was born on January 24, 1935 in Harrisonburg, and was the son of the late Walter and Laura Custer Early.

Roland lived his entire life in the Harrisonburg area. He was a member of Dayton United Methodist Church and had been employed with his father and uncle at Early Equipment Company and later retired from Todd Farm Equipment.

On September 5, 1959 he married the former Beverly Spencer, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, John “Brent” Early and wife, Pam Rhodes Early of Leesburg, Robert “Ashley” Early and wife, Tessa Wallace Early and William “Patrick” Early and wife, Andrea Early all of Staunton; six grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Custer Early of Richmond.

The family will receive friends 10-11:00 AM, Monday, March 5, 2012 at Dayton United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will held at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Steve Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Cemetery.
