Roy Wilson Kniceley

A son of the late Emanuel and Bertha Christian Kniceley, he was born on August 12, 1926 in Dayton, VA. He moved to Maryland in 1951 where he had since resided. Roy worked at Bethesda Sheet Metal in Maryland for more than 30 years and retired in 1987. One of his favorite past times was eating at Cracker Barrel in Stevensville, MD.

Roy married Berniece Coakley Kniceley who preceded him in death. Surviving is his daughter, Gale Kniceley of Grasonville, MD; his sister, Loraine Wichael of Grottoes, VA; and his beloved maltese, Cody. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Lee Knicely.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Monday, September 18, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 11:00 am in the Dayton Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Wright officiating.
