Russell Franklin Johnson

Russell Franklin Johnson, 69, a resident of Mt. Crawford, died March 6, 2021 at his residence. Russell was born on September 5, 1951 in Virginia and lived in Luray before moving to Rockingham County 50 years ago. He was self-employed and owned Johnson Janitorial Cleaning Service. Russell enjoyed collecting and working on old cars and loved to hunt. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Wimer Johnson; son Joey Johnson and wife Jane of West Palm Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Stephanie Johnson of Broadway, VA, Joey Johnson, Jr. of Grottoes, VA, Tristan Johnson, Allyson Johnson and Raynee Johnson all of West Palm Beach, FL; and a great-granddaughter, Jade Castle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Russell Franklin Johnson, Jr. His body will be cremated at Lindsey Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be no public service.
