Teresa Ann Craig

Teresa Ann Craig, 56, of Harrisonburg, went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 6, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 15, 1959 and was the daughter of Georgia Steele Pennington of Singers Glen. Teresa was a lifelong resident of Harrisonburg and graduated from Turner Ashby High School in 1977. She was employed at Owens-Brockway for 20 plus years and left there to pursue a career in cosmetology, she later went to work for DaVita, starting as a tech and later earned her LPN license. Teresa loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed being a Mom and Nana. She had a smile that could light up the room, a laugh that was contagious, and a spirit that will live on in the hearts of many. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Lynne Stinnett of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Chad Harper Stinnett and Becca Elizabeth Jones; a sister, Londia Craig of Timberville; two brothers, George Craig and wife, Tina, of Harrisonburg, Ralph Craig, Jr. and wife, Patti, of Mt. Solon; her nieces and nephews, Cassi Vyas and husband, Tarun, Mandy Craig, Sandra Stinnett, Shaula Botkin and husband, Jeremy, Adam and Cameron Craig, Austin Craig and wife, Lauren; and her beloved dog, Levi. She was preceded in death by her best friend and lifelong love Eugene 'Dickie' H. Stinnett; a grandson, Anthony Ray Stinnett, and step-father, Virgil Pennington. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Murphy Terry, Chaplain officiating.
