

Bill Fultz, age 69, of Harrogate, TN. Was born July 10, 1945 and passed away Feb. 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was saved and baptized at an early age at the Oak Grove Baptist Church; later on, he became a faithful member and trustee of Shawanee Baptist Church, He was a graduate of Forge Ridge High School , then worked at Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti, Mi. for 18 years. He and his wife, his high school sweetheart then returned to Claiborne County where Bill owned and operated the Harrogate Gulf / BP Station for 30 years. Bill served his community as an activist by also being an alderman for the City of Harrogate from 1993-2001, then as Mayor of the City of Harrogate from 2001-2015. In 2012, he was elected as Road Superintendent of Claiborne County.He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Geneva Brooks Fultz; brother-in-law, Clifford Peters; nephews, Derrick Montgomery, Lawrence Langford and Wayne Blakemore.He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Gilbert Fultz; daughters, Lisa Fultz of Fenton, Mi. and Kim and Matt Neverstitch; grandsons , Zach and Nich Neverstitch; sisters, Bennie (Jr) Massengill, Net Peters, Brenda Carol (Bill) Montgomery; brother, Terry Fultz and Linda Fultz; sister, Gail Fultz Miracle and brother,Fred (Karen) Fultz all of the Harrogate area. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Special friends, Ronnie Pittman and Nellie Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shawanee Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 140 , Shawanee, Tn. 37867
The family will receive friends from 4-7PM Saturday February 7, 2015 at the Shawanee Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with Rev. Lawrence Fultz, Rev. Ronnie Pittman and Rev. John Gibbons officiating. Josh Peters will be the pianist.
Graveside service will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery at 2:00PM Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 with Zach Neverstitch, Nich Neverstitch, Dan Peters, Justin Peters, Jason Fettinger, Chris Fultz, Andrew Fultz and Jerry Myatt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Shawanee Baptist Church and Ssg. Adam Miracle.
