Clifford Ronald Harrison

Clifford was a truck driver for 40+ years and enjoyed every mile but still kept his home life and his family his top priority. He owned and operated a backhoe and dozer business for several years- a real jack of all trades. He also partnered a sawmill with the late Leslie Gibbs. When he had free time he enjoyed being outdoors: fishing, piddling in the garage, and feeding the local wildlife. Clifford was a talker, he loved everyone and never met a stranger. He had the patience of a saint. Above anything, he loved his family; his wife, his kids, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Harrison and Irene Fuson; grandson, Patrick Petty; and sister, Joyce Moore.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Darlene Harrison; children, Franklin "Kippy" Harrison, Billy (Tina) Harrison, and Patricia Harrison (Darren) Taylor; grandchildren, Matthew Harrison, Joshua (Caitlyn) Harrison; great-grandchildren, Remi and Mallory; special brother, Billy Middleton; as well as a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate. Funeral service will be on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in the Robertson Cemetery in Speedwell.
