Margaret J Evans

Mrs. Margaret Jane Carey Evans, 78, of Speedwell, Tennessee was born September 30, 1939 and passed away January 18, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church but was regularly attending Red Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Viola Jessie Carey; sisters, Eva Mae, Paralee, and Sarah Ethel and one infant son, Larry Guy Evans.

She is survived by her Husband of 59 years: Guy Evans

Children: Regina and Gary Powers

Pamela West and Wayne Clotfelter

Terry Evans

Five Grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren

Sisters: Lois Lambert, Hazel Carey and Carolyn Fultz

Brothers: Bill Carey and Freddie Carey

Uncles: Wade Jessie and Frank Jessie

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Sunday January 21, 2018 in the Red. Hill Cemetery.
