Ruby Jean Welch

She was a member of Arthur United Methodist Church. She and her husband worked together at Welch Aluminum for over 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Welch, Jr.; parents, Marion and Leona Dunn; brother, Roy H. “Toad” Dunn; sisters, Blannie Brooks and Mary Lou Clanton.

She is survived by her son, Rick Welch of Tazewell, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Jeff Satterfield; very special granddaughters, Jenna and Julia Satterfield all of Harrogate, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Rufus and Mae Dunn of Speedwell, TN; several nieces, nephews and many special friends and family.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday, June 18, 2012 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Coffey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Gary Tye and Rev. Randall Wright officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Gary Tye and his wife, Terri.

Burial will follow in the Dunn family cemetery with Doug Clanton, Marty Dunn, Stacy Madon, Ted Madon, David Pearman and J.B. Smith serving as active pallbearers. Special friends are honorary pallbearers.
