BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services will be held for Agnes Bernice Ray at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Agnes was born to Thomas and Sarah Coleman in Risen, AR on April 10, 1926.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hollis Ray, Jr.; son, James Rushing; brothers, Hilton Carr Coleman, Thomas Giles Coleman, Harry Smith Coleman and Harold Roland Coleman; and sisters, Bessie Larrino Coleman and Faye Mozella Coleman.
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Martha Ray and Sarah Carnahan and husband Douglas; grandchildren, Shane Rushing, Stephanie Gaddy and husband Jamie and Kelly Wells and husband Deven; great grandchildren, Kimberly Gaddy, Alexis Gaddy, Ryan Gaddy, Cayden Watkins, Carter Wells and Coleman as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
