Alice M Ford

Services to celebrate the life of Alice M. Ford will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, August 4 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Hill Crest Park. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour before the service at 10:00 am.

Alice was born on April 20, 1935, in Tucson, AZ to Robert and Rita Duarte. She died peacefully in her sleep on June 22, 2023. She had 2 brothers Albert and Dick, and one sister (her best friend) Olga. She was a military wife of 65 years and navigated her husband’s transfers across the country and overseas. She was an avid dart player, bowler and softball player. She was a dedicated wife and mother, often volunteering in the classroom, on field trips and she served as Team Mom for her kids’ sports teams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Ford; grandson, Nolan Ford; her parents Robert and Rita Duarte, her brother Albert Duarte, and her sister Olga Higginbotham.

Alice is survived by her children, Michael Ford, Mark Ford and wife Rita, Matthew Ford and wife Kristina, and Maria Raulston and husband Mike; and her grandchildren, Jason Ford and wife Bailey, Nick, Alex, and Ellie Ford, and Jake and Hannah Raulston.
