Archie A. Fleming

HAUGHTON, LA – Services for Archie A. Fleming will be held at 10:00 on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Fr. Pike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born in Holyoke, MA on December 7, 1942 to Archie, Sr. and Arlyene Fleming. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller and later relocated to Bossier City, LA and was employed by the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller. Archie was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling, Train Club, fishing and riding his Harley.

Archie was preceded in death by his wife Karen Ann Vermersch Fleming. He is survived by his mother Arlyene Fleming, daughters Ginger Randolph and husband Buddy and Valerie Gardner and husband Frank, son Archie Fleming and wife April, grandchildren Brandon Dunn and wife Ashley, Jacob Dunn and wife Shanna, Emily Fleming, Elizabeth Fleming, Zachary Gardner, Colin Gardner, great grandchildren Hunter and Jacob Dunn, Jr. and brother Robert Fleming as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Zachary Gardner, Colin Gardner, Brett Regio and Palbo Delmonte.
