Benjamin Ray Frye

Benjamin joined the United States Air Force in 1953 and served in Korea and Vietnam. After retiring from the United States Air Force as Technical Sergeant, Benjamin then transitioned into Civil Service Fire and Rescue. He retired from that position in 1991.

On August 24, 1964, Benjamin married Doris Mae (Booe) Frye in Lubbock, Texas. Bossier City, Louisiana was their home for fifty-four of their fifty-seven year marriage.

Mr. Frye is preceded in death by three siblings, Lollie, Luke, and Neal, Jr., and his parents, Neal and Iva Frye. He is survived by two siblings, Billy and Phyllis, four generations of family, and numerous friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening, April 21, 2022, from 5-7 P.M. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Services to honor Mr. Frye are on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 10:00 A.M., held within the Hill Crest Memorial Mausoleum.

Pallbearers are Ed Herrera, Leon Singh, Justin Jones, Bryce Bradish, Ray Robinson, and Travis Tucker. Honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Frye.
