

Mr. Billy “Bill” Lee Wrenn, born on September 26, 1935, passed away at age 88 on July 4, 2024, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Bill was born to Willie Lee Wrenn and Beatrice Wrenn in Cambria, Virginia. Bill was married to the love of his life, Lieselotte “Lottie” G. Wrenn of Germany, for 57 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Wrenn; son, Steffen H. Wrenn; mother, Beatrice Wrenn; father, Willie Lee Wrenn; sister, Sandra Loan; and brother, Larry Wrenn.
Bill was a proud retiree of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed drinking coffee, watching television with Lottie, playing solitaire, spending time with his family, and attending a standing lunch at Captain D’s with his best friend, Ernie prior to his death. Bill happily resided at Brookdale in Bossier City for one year prior to his death, where he enjoyed eating butter pecan ice cream daily, playing bingo, participating in chair aerobics, being a member of the Brookdale Belles and Beauxs bean bag baseball team, and attending live music events. He took pride in being Brookdale’s most loyal LSU fan.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Jimmy) Keel of Bossier City; son, Bobby (Stephanie) Wrenn of Meridian, Idaho; and daughter in law, Sandra (Steffen) Wrenn of Lynchburg, Virginia. Grandchildren Bobby Wrenn Jr. of Meridian, Idaho; Olivia (Jay) Marrou of Montgomery, Alabama; Emily (Jordan) Shirk of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Amy Keel of Bossier City; Ashley Keel of Bossier City; Mikayla Wrenn of Wallis, Texas; and Kolby Wrenn of Wallis, Texas and their mother Brenda Wrenn of Wallis, Texas; Sam Staab, Ellie Staab and Caleb Staab of Meridian, Idaho; Great-grandchildren Luke and Reece Marrou of Montgomery, Alabama; brother, Jack (Dee) Wrenn; sister, Lois Loan; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff in the emergency room and step down unit at Willis Knighton–Bossier for their exceptional care, kindness, and compassion during Bill’s stay. The family would also like to thank the staff and residents of Brookdale in Bossier City for the kindness, fun, and friendship that they provided during the last year of Bill’s life.
