Billy G. Winters

DOYLINE, LA – Services to honor the life of Mr. Billy G. Winters, 69, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Bill Kincaid of The Baptist Tabernacle Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Billy was born on May 11, 1947, to parents, R.J. Winters and Margie Onsby Winters, and passed away on October 1, 2016. He retired from Chevyland as a mechanic after 30 plus years of faithful employment and enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding his motorcycles. Billy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Earl Winters. Left to cherish his memory is wife of 51 years, Carol Winters; daughters, Annette Mauldin and husband Michael, and Tammy McDaniel and husband Robin; grandchildren, Christine, David, Dylan, Van, and Sam; and his sister, Ann Wingrove and husband Larry

Pallbearers are James Ward, Allen Frye, Larry Wingrove, Jr., Josh Davis, Jackie Culpepper, and Dick Hogue.
