

Brett Dwain Shoebridge, 39, of Bossier City passed on to glory on Sunday, May 19, 2013 following a vehicle accident. Services will be held at Bellaire Baptist Church on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Dr. Randy Harper will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends at Bellaire Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Brett was born on November 30, 1973 in Orlando, FL and resided in Bossier City since 1980. He was a Parkway High School graduate and received his Bachelor’s degree from LSU Baton Rouge, where he a was cheerleader for the Fighting Tigers.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Helen Shoebridge and Josephine Lacy, and his brother, Brian Shoebridge. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 12 years, Trisha Echols Shoebridge; his 3 year old son, Brian; parents, Burt and Joyce Shoebridge; sister, Tammy Warner and husband Ed; brother, Butch Shoebridge; nieces, Hayley, Ashley, Reyna and Emma; nephews, Avery and David Michael and numerous extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Troy Austin, John Bonar, Kevin Mosley, Jason Pope, James Regan and Dan Stringer.
Memorials may be made to an account set up for his son: Brian Daniel Shoebridge, at Barksdale Federal Credit Union.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Shreveport Fire and Police Department, LOPA and the wonderful staff at LSU Medical Center, SICU.
Brett will be deeply missed. Thirty-nine years with him was not nearly enough, but our heavenly reunion with him will last for eternity.
