Brittney Owens

Brittney Elizabeth Owens, age 34, of Haughton, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Brittney was born September 30, 1990, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Davis and Laura Webb.

Brittney was a loving sister, daughter, and an incredible hands-on mother. She had a deep love for adventure and travel, always seeking new experiences. Her dedication extended to everything she did, including her career as a Pharmaceutical Technician. Brittney had a passion for softball, playing it throughout her entire childhood. She had a warm and welcoming nature, never meeting a stranger and was deeply loved and admired by so many.

Brittney is survived by husband, Bobby Owens; son, Easton Owens; daughter, Lucy Owens; father, Robert Davis; mother, Laura Webb, husband John; sisters, Caden Davis Roth, husband Austin, Piper Davis, and Pearce Davis; brother, Lucas Spinney; nephews, Jayce Cook and Waylon Roth; grandmother-in-law, Rena Owens; best friend, Anna Welch, and stepfather, Barry Spinney.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Susan Elizabeth Hadwin and Alicerose Yvonne Head.

Pallbearers will be Barry Spinney, John Webb, Austin Roth, Ryker St. John, James Scroggins, and Justice Cook.

A visitation for Brittney will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:00 am at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Gevan Spinney officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Port City Cat Rescue.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Louisiana State Police, The Bokenfohrs, and her Willis Knighton Family.
