

He met and married his wife of 62 years, Merlaine, while stationed at Chandler AFB, near Slayton, MN. They enjoyed military life and the many places it took their family. He retired and moved to Bossier City in 1974. He had a second career with the US Postal Service, and retired in 1993.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Charles on Sunday, April 12, 2015,
at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, Haughton, LA with Rev. Sam Moses officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Myrtis Fuller, sister, Ida Cummings and brother, J.C. Fuller.
Left to cherish his memory, his wife, Merlaine of Bossier City , his daughter, Kathy Davis of Bossier City and son, Kent Fuller and wife Teressa of Monroe, LA and son-in-law, Buddy Davis of Benton, LA, seven grandchildren: Dale Keeler (Christina), April Rogers (Randy), Dana Hill (David), Kelli Treutlein (Thomas), Jenny Whittington (Tim), Jonathan Davis (Rebecca) and Mandy Boling (Kenny), sisters, Lorene Marrero of Jackson, MS, Virginia Johnson of Elm Grove, LA and 14 great grandchildren: Avery, Hayley, Katie, Joshua, Carson, Eli, DJ, Dawson, Kaylee, Emily, Morgan, Caden, Vance and McKenzie.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Dale, Jonathan, Randy, Avery, David, Thomas, Tim and Kenny. Honorary pallbearer will be Buddy Davis.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Research Foundation.
