Cherry Ann Meadows

Services to celebrate the life of Cherry Ann Meadows, 70, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Tower Apostolic Church, Mooringsport, LA, officiated by Rev. Richard Wise. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mooringsport, LA. The family will receive guests on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cherry was born in Winnfield, LA on October 7, 1945, to parents, Bowman and Lee Oville Wright, and passed away on September 26, 2016. Before retiring, she worked as the receptionist for a local cable company. After retirement, Cherry's new position became full time grandmother to her six wonderful grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, sister, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Cherry is preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. Meadows; and her parents. She leaves behind to cherish wonderful memories, her two sons, Keith Meadows and Kevin Meadows and wife Lori; sister, Olive Nicolosi; brother, Riley Wright; and grandchildren, Austin Meadows, Dakota Meadows, Miranda Meadows Bailey and husband Steven, Kelsey Meadows, Brooke Meadows, and Cassidy Meadows.

Honoring Cherry as pallbearers are Steven Bailey, Danny Combs, Ricky Dorsey, Delmer Meadows, Travis Monroe, and Steve Terry.
