Deborah Rushing

Debbie worked as a school bus attendant for 13 years. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She loved doings all kinds of activities with her grandkids and she loved spending time playing games on her computer. She truly was a joy to be around, she was always entertaining and there was never a dull moment with her. Her faith in the Lord was strong. She will forever be missed and loved.

Deborah was a loving wife, mother and sister, she joins in Heaven her mother, Violet Patrick; brother, Kenny Patrick; and niece, Sarah Patrick Layfield. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years, Dennis Rushing; father, Charles Patrick; brothers, Ricky Patrick, Jay Patrick, and Tony Patrick and his wife Teri; sister, Barbara Layfield; children, Chad Patrick and wife Jessica, Heather Duckett and husband Jamie; grandchildren, Katelyn and C.J. Patrick, and Morgan, Hudson and Shelton Duckett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held for family and friends on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Services to celebrate Debbie's life will be begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Brother Rick McAdams officiating. Burial will follow at Haughton Cemetery, Hwy 157 in Haughton.

Honoring Debbie as pallbearers will be Chad Patrick, B.J. Layfield, Murray Lewter, John Haun, Jerry Walker and C.J. Patrick.
