Douglas Ray Sellars

Services celebrating the life of Douglas Ray Sellars will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Douglas was born on May 17, 1957 in Snyder, TX and passed away at his home in Haughton on May 29, 2021 surrounded by his family.

He was employed with Yokem Toyota for 30 years. He enjoyed bowling and attending grandchildren's sporting events.

Douglas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mom and Pop Hawthorne and Mawmaw and Pawpaw Sellars; father-in-law, Jerry O'Neal and nephew, Steven Keith Sellars II.

Left to cherish his name is his devoted wife, Robin Sellars, who never left his side; his mother, Shelba Sellars of Haughton; his father, Billy Sellars (Sharon) of Carthage, TX; sons, Chris Sellars (Kim) and Mike Sellars (Crystal); grandchildren, Cassidy, Colby, Kaylee, Easton, Gracyn, Bryson and Adyson; brother, Steve Sellars of S.Carolina; sister, Tammy Walker (Terry); Aunt Jo Eiland; mother-in-law, Deloris O'Neal; brothers-in-law, Tim O'Neal (Liza) and Wren O'Neal; sisters-in-law, Liz Smoot (Terry) and Wanda Plackemeier (Fredy) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Regional Hospice for the love and care.
