

Funeral services celebrating the life of Guistina Carmella Elizabeth Pagley Todd, 91, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Bellaire Baptist Church, Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Dr. Randy Harper. Assisting will be Father Richard J. Lombard of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Guistina was born on August 4, 1920 in New Castle, PA and passed away on January 2, 2012 in Shreveport, LA. During Mrs. Todd’s lifetime she was a member of Saint Vitus Church, New Castle, PA, Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Shreveport, LA and Bellaire Baptist Church, Bossier City, LA. Guistina was a homemaker and was always very dedicated and devoted to her family.
Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Pagley, Sr. and Clara King Pagley; husband, Willard F. Todd; sisters, Dorthea Didiano and Angelina Rose Pagley.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Guistina are her sons, Willard A. Todd and Gary F. Todd and wife Lora; grandchildren, Garrett Todd, Christian Todd, Jenna Todd Barron and husband John, Allanah Todd and fiance’ David Zeidan; great grandchildren, Addison Barron and Tyson Zeidan; siblings, Mary Biedka, Joseph C. Pagley, Sr., Louis P. Pagley, Jr. and Joan D. Quinn all of New Castle, PA. Mrs. Todd is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Mrs. Todd as pallbearers will be: John Barron, David Zeidan, Clyde Matthews, Robert Earl Mayence, Jr., Ricky Harper and Brett Schoonover. Honorary pallbearers will be: Christian Todd, Joseph C. Pagley, Sr., Louis P. Pagley, Jr., Gregory Didiano and Louis Pagley.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Betty Williams, Joy Gay, Marla Grantham and the St. Joseph Hospice and Staff for all the special care and companionship shown to Mrs. Todd. The family would like to especially thank Cecilia, Linda and Joy from St. Joseph Hospice.
Guistina, lovingly known as Mabetty, worked hard all her life and is now at peace with our Lord in Heaven. She never forgot anyone, always remembered everyone’s birthdays and loved making her special checkerboard cake. Like a special angel in Heaven she is now watching down upon us all. We will always remember the good times and know she will live on forever in our hearts.
